PAMBER Heath Short-Mat Bowls Club: The bowls club is holding two open evenings for anyone who would like to give short-mat bowls a try.
If you would like to have a go, then why not go along on January 31 or February 1, at 7.15pm, and enjoy an evening playing bowls?
The club has a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere and has all the equipment required, all you need are some flat-soled shoes or slippers.

VILLAGE hall theatre evening. Earlier this month, almost 100 people enjoyed an evening with Derek Brimstone.
He last played at Pamber Heath five years ago. We all enjoyed his show then, and we enjoyed seeing him again on January 8 when he was just as funny and just as good.
Next month, on February 26, Shep Wooley and "Doc" Pearce will be at Pamber Heath with their Holy Rock 'n' Roll Show.

PLAY area improvements at Pamber Heath Village Hall: These include a small skateboarding ramp and a soccer wall with a basketball net.
If you would like to view the proposals for these improvements and make any comments on them, a drop-in workshop has been arranged for next Wednesday, between 10.30am and 3.30pm, at the village hall.
