A GROUP of volunteers from Lee-on-the-Solent have launched a campaign to improve facilities in the town.
Members of Vision4Lee are hoping to tap into grants which are available for amenities.
The town is one of 32 in Hampshire which qualifies for assistance from the £1.2m South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) market towns initiative. The group want to hear from residents, businesses and associations with their ideas.
A public meeting will be held next month to start work on a market town health check which will identify issues and prioritise community projects.
All are welcome at the meeting at St Faith's Church in Victoria Square, Lee-on-the-Solent on Thursday, February 24 at 7.45pm.
