WELL done to Northend United, who made it through to the semi-finals of the Southampton FA Cup where they join Nursling, Lyndhurst and Locksley Sports.
They were made to battle hard for their place by Malvern but a Gareth Meyer goal and an own goal edged them through - a Danny Ryles reply all that Malvern could muster despite having the lion's share of the second half possession.
The goals were coming thick and fast in the Premier Division with two of the top teams winning 7- 2 away from home.
Classic Comrades took advantage of leaders Wellow being involved in cup action to leap back to the top with a 7-2 win at AFC Arrow. Robbie Burch scored a hat-trick. Mandeep Singh added a double and further efforts from Kristian Winter and Mike Randall made up the tally.
Double-chasers Nursling found themselves a goal down after just 70 seconds as Dan Marsh put Priory in front, but Wayne West equalised and Nursling went on to win 7-2 as Ian Shaw hit a treble, Paul Odam a brace and Neil Scullard a single.
Locksley Sports hit Cadnam for six with Billy Cozens another hat-trick hero, Mike Addison got two with Billy Kelly completing the scoring.
Botley Village have promoted reserve-team player Andy Wakeley to the Premier side and he rewarded them with a triple salvo in their 4-0 win at AFC Target, James Dixey hit the other.
