The Wanderers were twice as good as the previous week in goal tally, but against a Haslemere Bluebeards side who were right out of form.
Goal one came from an attack down the right when Charles Whiteway centred and David Haydon finished. The second started with a pass from Edgar Fernandes on the 25 yard line to Nigel Palmer, who drove home.
Two up at half time, they continued the same way with John Stokes feeding Edgar Fernandes to shoot home. The fourth came at a short corner, shaped by Jerry Jones, and was turned in by Haydon. Then, James Larcombe's pass down the middle found the skilful Stokes who made a double bluff before scoring.
The final goal of a one-sided match came from a short corner by Jones to Larcombe, who found Palmer to score. A clean sheet in defence was as much an achievement as the six goals scored.
