Devizes II 10 Andover II 45
Andover II managed to record their first win of 2005 in some style at the weekend, with a pleasing victory away to Devizes.
The progress the team has made since the beginning of the season was clear for all to see with this victory, as it was only a couple of months ago that Andover lost by 20 points in the same fixture.
The foundations of the win were laid by a great performance by the pack, who won clean ball from both scrums and lineouts and who were far more ruthless around the park.
The backs were also much less wasteful with possession and looked a constant threat all game.
