HAPPY New Year to all Village News readers.
WHY not start the year by improving your fitness? The "non-aerobic" class, held weekly on Wednesdays, from 7.45pm, at East Oakley Village Hall, has changed its name to "Low Impact".
Both ladies and gentlemen of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Please call Gabrielle for more information, on 842482.
MOBILE library: The South Ham mobile library, which visits Oakley each Friday, has changed the time of its visits.
Until further notice, the library will be at Kennet Way lay-by from 2.20pm until 4.20pm, and the school lay-by from 4.30pm until 6.30pm.
If the school lay-by is full, the library will return to Kennet Way, and will reopen there.
For more information, or to find out about joining the library, please call 465102.
OAKLEY Woodlands Group: Is meeting on January 22, at St John's Copse, and Wednesday 26, in Cowdown Copse.
Tools and refreshments will be provided, and stakes and heatherings are to be made, which will be used by Hampshire Wildlife Trust.
ONCE again, please call me about any news items, or e-mail traceybowsh@aol.com
