MEMBERS of the public in Fareham are being invited to have their say in the first stage of a conservation project.
Fareham Borough Council's planning department is beginning the first stage of the Town Quay Conservation Area Character Assessment today.
Residents will be invited to help identify those elements of historic or architectural significance that are important to the character of the conservation area, and any potential for improvement.
The views and opinions received will help to inform the preparation of the draft Conservation Area Character Assessment.
Fareham Borough Council says it welcomes any written comments before the closing date on Friday, February 11.
Comments should be sent to The Planning Department, Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices, Civic Way, Fareham, PO16 7PU.
A second public consultation on a draft will follow in April.
