THE Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards took place last night at a star-studded ceremony at Winchester Guildhall.
Known affectionately as the Oscars of the south, the ceremony brought together some of Hampshire's finest thespians, directors and playwrights to celebrate another outstanding year for local theatre.
Presented by 'Allo, 'Allo star Viki Michelle and attended by Daily Echo editor Ian Murray, the ceremony itself was full of magic and as ever proved a great success for all who attended. A mixture of tension and excitement filled the air as the nominees awaited the results.
You can find out just who won what in Monday's Echo in our double-page picture special, including the winner of the coveted Best Production award!
