In competitions, Jason Richards/M Vidler (Crown) will meet either Barry Stubbington/Dave Reed (New Inn) or D Cook & Dave Laurent (Black Dog A) on finals night.
Steve Perren (Hedge End B), Dave Reed (New Inn), Matt Robbins (Vine) and Ian Edmunds (Sams) will contest the semi-finals of the J Goode Open Singles on the same night.
Skill League
Top two Woolston and Hedge End both won their first games of 2005, but with just one week left are separated only by game difference. Neither can afford to lose. If Dockers win they could leapfrog both of them.
Highest score in the latest round was 140 by Julie Parker (Hedge End) and Jenny Bailey (Manor).
Itchen & District Men
A lively start to the New Year saw Mick Woods (Cat & Mouse), Gene Bagley (West End A), Shaun Budden (Pear Tree A) and Mark Cole (Pear Tree A) all hit maximums. Alan Bagg (West End A) went out with a 108 shot and teammate D Newman hit 117. Ray Holloway (Ship) threw a finish of 118 and Colin Douglas (Roll Call) hit 104.
Eastleigh Town & Guests
Paul Dunn (Bitterne Park), Sam Rooney (Loco A) and Val Emmett (Long Mead) have all begun well after Christmas by hitting maximums.
Terry Allman (Loco A) threw a finish of 120, Ben Paddington (Netley BL) hit 122 and Geoff Jacobs (Grantham) threw 130.
Cobweb Solutions Fareham Men
Hill Park's K Moore threw a maximum and checked out with 125. J Rees (Q Battery) also hit 180 and P Booker (Gordon Arms) went out on 115.
