A WRITING group from Chandler's Ford is to publish a book of poems by one of its members who died last year.
Librarian Virginia Warbey, of Romsey, died in a car accident in North Baddesley last summer just weeks before her 36th birthday.
Now friends and colleagues from Chandler's Ford Writers have come together and published Ratified, Virgina's second selection of poems.
Moira Clark, of the writing group, said: "As writers and friends of Virginia, we wanted to make sure her work was not lost or forgotten, but enjoyed."
Virginia had her first book of poetry, A Legacy of Echoes, published when she was 22 and she also had two novels published using her married name of Virginia Smith.
The new 80-page collection is available from the Romsey Visitor Information Centre, the Arcade Bookshop in Chandler's Ford, and the Wells Bookshop in Winchester.
