AN Isle of Wight hit and run victim has died in hospital after spending 15 years in a coma.
David Price was knocked down on a road near his Yarmouth home in 1990, and despite having his life support machine switched off he fought on to stay alive.
Mr Price's family visited him every day in the hope he might recover. His mother Sonia yesterday made a fresh appeal for the driver who hit her son to come forward.
Mrs Price said: "They robbed a family of a much-loved son and brother."
The case has remained open and is now being reviewed by police due to Mr Price's death.
