IT IS often said that 'what comes around goes around' and that football has a way of evening itself out over the season.

It is also true that some clubs end up more even than others but on Saturday Andover called in a couple of favours from Lady Luck and clinched a late victory to leave AFC Totton to walk away with nothing.

It was a match so typical of many of Lions outings this season, in that it was so unpredictable.

After an enjoyable first half where both sides played good football and there were chances a plenty and two good goals, the second became fractious and Andover lost their shape before regrouping and snatching the win.

The management team of Ady Burford and Ray Cozzi were without Bobby Swayne who started a 35 day suspension last week after his aberration at Liss in the Senior Cup, and both Danny Sullivan and Danny Lewis, who it is rumoured may have played their last games for the club.

There was a multitude of riches on offer as the reserve match at AFC Newbury was postponed due to 'health and safety reasons' and Colin Hopkins was recalled to the side to keep goal with defender Keiron Hall, a recent signing from Winchester City, making his debut.
