SOUTHAMPTON law firm Trethowans has appointed wills, tax and trusts specialist Miriam Tarrant-Smith as a partner, bringing the total number of partners to 17.
Miriam gained her law qualifications in 1993 and joined Trethowans as a trainee in the same year.
In addition to her client work, Miriam is responsible for managing and reviewing quality systems and standards and ensuring that the firm complies with the requirements of Law Society's "Lexcel" accreditation.
Miriam said: "I'm delighted to be appointed and look forward to contributing towards the development of the firm and in particular the private client services offered to clients."
In her spare time, Miriam attends her local gym and is a keen gardener.
