TSUNAMI crisis: Silchester villagers came together last Monday, to make their donations to this fund, and raised more than £3,000 in one-and-a-half hours.

Collections ranged from pocket money coppers to large cheques.

The affected countries are much in our thoughts at this terrible time.

PHOENIX Club: Held its 12th night lunch at the Calleva Arms on Wednesday, when almost 30 members got together.

Plans are now almost finished for this year and programmes will be available at the February meeting.

CHURCHES Together Around Tadley: A reminder that all the churches in the area will celebrate together on Sunday, January 16, at the community centre, Tadley.
