HAPPY New Year to all readers and I hope it brings peace to your life.
WALK: If anyone would like more information about the "Walking for Health" initiative, or is interested in helping to plan and lead these popular walks in the Popley, Chineham and Oakridge areas, contact Jane Wilding on 01256 845574, or Marilyn Davies on 01256 845630.
QUIT smoking: For those of you who have decided to quit smoking in 2005, then the place for you is Melrose Hall.
Starting on January 12, at 10am, there is a free, friendly, local seven-week Quit Smoking Clinic.
Call 0845 602 4663 for a place, or to ask about other Basingstoke daytime or evening clinics.
CLEANER required: Melrose Hall is still looking for a cleaner.
If you are interested, call 01256 420676.
CONTACT me on the number at the top of this column if you have something to include.
