AGENTS Lane Fox are on track to find a buyer for an old steam engine barn that has been converted into a character home.
Matthew White, of the Odiham office of Lane Fox, said: "Steam Barn offers an imaginative conversion of a former working barn."
Steam Barn is in the heart of the conservation area of the village of Lasham close to the pond and opposite the church.
Inside, the barn (pictured) has an open-plan reception room which features a high ceiling, a storey-high exposed brick fireplace and chimney breast, polished wood flooring and a wrought-iron spiral staircase.
The fireplace is inset with a gas log burner, while a trap door in the dining area lifts up to give access to the old engine pit, which now makes a handy storage space.
The floor and wall units in the kitchen are oak effect. There are granite work surfaces, a Belfast sink, a cream LPG-fired Aga cooker and a built-in fridge freezer.
The bathroom for the three upstairs bedrooms is downstairs and features a partially-sunken bath and shower cubicle.
Steam Barn has off-road parking. The garden is laid to lawn and includes a patio area.
The agents are marketing the individual property with a price guide of £285,000.
