VOLUNTEERS: At the start of the new year I normally suggest a few resolutions that are mostly about volunteering, but the splendid exhibition we had in October 2004 showed just how many volunteers we have in the village.

We have room for many more, and a number of our organisations are struggling to find leaders and people for their committees.

If you could "put something back" into one of them, you would be very welcome.

PANTO: Widow Twanky and her fellow dames will be searching for a panto in the Village Club on Tuesday, at 6pm.
