DAY patients at The Countess of Brecknock Hospice were given a treat when the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire Mary Fagan, along with a team of volunteers and staff, served Christmas dinner.
Patients enjoyed a traditional turkey dinner with background piano music and an afternoon of festivities and fun.
For years it has been a tradition that Mrs Fagan helps carve the turkey and serve dinner to patients.
In previous years staff and the volunteers have cooked the dinner themselves but this year the dinner was cooked and brought in by the hospice chef.
