A NEW respite care centre for people with learning disabilities is being proposed to serve the Kennet area of Wiltshire.
The 10-bed short-break centre would help to meet increased demand for respite care in the area. People with learning disabilities would be able to visit the centre for short breaks.
They would be able to get professional support during their stay and the visit would give their carers an opportunity to have a break from caring.
