SHE has served different generations of the same families during her 55 years working at one Southampton pharmacy.
Hazel Taylor has been a familiar face to customers since she started work at Sunak Pharmacy, in Burgess Road, at the age of 15.
To mark Mrs Taylor's milestone, pharmacy staff celebrated her long-service in the week of her 70th birthday with presents and a bouquet of flowers.
Mrs Taylor, a widow, still helps out by serving part-time and has no plans to completely retire.
"It's lovely to come out and meet people," said Mrs Taylor who lives in Bassett.
"I know such a lot of people and see mothers, who I saw as babies, with their own children or big 50-year-old men in the street who I remember weighing."
Pharmacy owner Usha Sunak praised the mother of three and grandmother of seven for all her hard work.
"She is wonderful and a very dedicated member of the community. Everybody knows her," she said.
