A RECORD-BREAKING stunt rider has been entertaining crowds in Southampton.
Craig Jones, whose talents have been featured in films including Tomb Raider and Luger the Movie, made an appearance at Dock Gate 20 Motorcycles in Second Avenue, Millbrook,.
The 35-year-old, pictured left in action and above at Dock Gate 20, holds the world record for performing the longest 'stoppie' at 266 metres. This is a stunt that involves balancing a motorcycle on its front wheel at high speed then steering it down a track under the lightest possible braking to achieve maximum distance. Craig performed motorcycle tricks during his visit to the Southampton store.
After riding Triumph, Suzuki and then Honda, Craig's real break arrived in early 2000 when he won over sponsors Harley-Davidson and Buell Motorcycles.
Craig, well-known for having the ability to commentate to an audience through a helmet microphone while riding, has a huge fan base in Europe.
Craig said: "At last I can fully express my passion for entertaining people around the world. I want everyone to enjoy motorcycling as much as I do."
