CHRISTMAS trees stretch as far as the eye can see at Rosewood Cottage - and they are there all year round.
Rosewood Cottage is surrounded by farmland at its rural location in Popham, near Basingstoke, and one of its views is of a Christmas tree farm.
The cottage was one of the last instructions of the year for the Basingstoke office of agents Knight Frank.
With a price guide of £270,000, it is a rather expensive stocking filler but could present New Year house-hunters with some food for thought.
An impressive open fireplace in the beamed sitting room is the ideal place to hang the Christmas stocking tonight, and the refitted kitchen has a Rayburn in which to roast the turkey.
The hand-made and painted kitchen units incorporate a butler sink large enough to accommodate the Christmas lunch dishes.
Extra space has been created in Rosewood Cottage by adding a conservatory leading off the kitchen, while the dining room contains the stairs to the two first-floor bedrooms as well as the bathroom.
Although updated, the cottage - which was built in the 19th century - retains period features.
