Sir.-With reference to the letters on road repairs between Jays Close and Grove Road, Basingstoke, I would like to know when someone will be back to finish off the job properly.
I, and hundreds of office workers, use these roads daily. Driving along Jays Close is like going on a rollercoaster - the road is so uneven, plus it's still got a great big hole in the middle of it.
Grove Road is not much better. The resurfacing is so uneven that we only need to have some black ice on this road and there will be more than one accident, not to mention what it's doing to everyone's car suspension.
