HAPPY Christmas to you all from Amanda, myself and family.
I hope that you have a wonderful, safe and enjoyable time and please remember don't drink and drive. Walk, get a taxi, ask a non-drinking friend but don't get behind that wheel.
If you are in doubt, don't drive.
CHRISTMAS Festival: The Tadley Band, together with Silchester School Choir and Band, held a Christmas Festival last Saturday night.
The audience nearly had to hang from the ceiling as so many attended the community centre for this wonderful concert.
At the end of the interval, Father Christmas attended and gave out sweets to the children.
It was altogether a great evening.
A BIG thank you: To all those who have decorated their homes with festive lights.
They have made a lot of people very happy, including me.
Here are a few streets to look in: Huntsmoor Road, Whitedown Road, Burham Road, a cul-de-sac in Sheridan Road, Tadley Hill, Southdown Road, Gutteridge Lane, Bishopswood Road, Franklin Ave and Almswood Road. Please let me know of any more.
I had a phone call from a lady to say to go and have a look at Gravelly Close, so I did just that, and it's well worth a visit.
When it's all over, you can dispose of your old tree in Southdown Road open space car park for recycling - but only the real ones.
