MERRY Christmas everyone: I hope everyone is ready for some serious festive celebrations.
If so, be careful, don't drink and drive, cool your tempers, remember it's Christmas, peace and goodwill to all, and treat others how you wish to be treated yourself.
SOUTH View post office, Vyne Road: There are plans to close the post office, but you will still be able to get gas and electric, pay your rent to Sentinel Housing and get phone top-up cards.
Also, the shop will be closed on Christmas Day and open for half a day on Boxing Day.
THANK you: To all those who took part last week in the Christmas procession in South Ham, Popley and Oakridge.
All your support was much appreciated and made the whole experience a memorable one, especially for me, and for those who saw me.
Also, a big thank you to all the community wardens for their hard work and effort they put in.
Your jobs aren't easy but you do make a difference.
BASINGSTOKE gymnastic classes: Are being held at the Oakridge Hall For All on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm for five to seven-year-olds, and 5pm to 6pm for seven to 11-year-olds.
They start on January 5 and cost £15 for a five-week course.
REGENERATION update: We now have a post box outside our Today's local in Oakridge Village.
SENTINEL issues: You should contact Sarah Petherick on 01252 788738 or 0800 1955515.
