CHRISTMAS at St Mark's Primary: As always, the last week of term before Christmas was an exciting time for the children of St Mark's Primary School.
The children performed Our Christmas Card to You to their parents, as well as having parties at school and a special Christmas lunch.
Collections were made at the children's performances in aid of Shelter and The Salvation Army.
On the last day of term, it was planned to have carols around the Christmas tree.
CHRISTMAS at Hatch Warren Infant School: It has also been an exciting time for the children of Hatch Warren Infant School, as shortly before the end of term all the children took part in their special Christmas presentation to parents.
There was also a performance put on especially for the Year 5 buddies from Hatch Warren Junior School.
All the children in Year 2 are assigned a buddy for the year from the junior school to help them prepare for their change to the big school when they start Year 3 and these buddies were invited to their own special performance.
CHRISTMAS services at Immanuel with St Mark's: A reminder of the times for services over the Christmas weekend.
There are three services today: a Crib Service at 3pm which is fairly short and therefore ideal for small children, a Carol service at 6.30pm and Midnight Communion starting at 11.30pm.
On Christmas Day there will be a Christmas Day Celebration at 10am.
There is no service at Immanuel with St Mark's on Boxing Day but there will be the usual 10am service at nearby St Mark's Church in Homesteads Road.
HAPPY Christmas: I'd just like to wish everyone living in Hatch Warren and Beggarwood a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
May it be all you wish for.
