JUST in time for Christmas, an Andover woman has been reunited with the contents of a handbag stolen a year and a half ago.
Manuela Critchlow was 'absolutely ecstatic' when she received a phone call from the police station telling her a filofax, driving licence, notebook and credit card, all with her name on, had been returned.
Although she replaced the licence and cancelled the credit card some time ago, Manuela thinks that the belated reappearance of her possessions is still cause for celebration.
Unfortunately, the handbag itself and photos of her dead parents are still missing.
"At this time of year, we're always told to be alert for bag thieves so it's nice to get something returned," said Manuela. For the full story see friday's Andover Advertiser
