FESTIVE spirit was thick in the air as Rookwood pupils had a good old singsong around the Christmas tree.
Before wrapping up another school term, the pupils got together to sing some well-loved Christmas carols.
Parents and teachers went along to enjoy the not-so-silent but thankfully tuneful night.
As tradition dictates, mince pies and mulled wine were on the menu too.
"The pupils also joined up with the senior school for a Christmas carol service at St Mary's Church," said school spokeswoman Philippa Scudds.
