THE message was simple - thank you to the people of Andover from all the traders of Andover Charter Market.
Their gift was a family fun day on Saturday with free rides and Miss Christmas giving away mulled wine and mince pies.
"What with the chaos that the pedestrianisation brought, our customers kept on coming back so we wanted to say thank you, we really appreciate it," said Jackie Rayner, secretary of Andover Market Traders Association.
Other special events included a free lucky dip for small children and a free raffle for a meat hamper and a fruit hamper, both won by Andover residents. For the full story see friday's Andover Advertiser
