THE US Army, which runs logistical operations from the Waterside, has given a certificate of appreciation to a ship repair firm that built a 150-ton slipway cradle.
Testbank, based at Southampton's Western Docks, used as many local contractors and suppliers as possible to make the launch cradle, which will be used at the United States' naval base at Kuwait.
