SOUTHAMPTON'S seminal psychedelic rockers The Jupiter Few will be tearing up a storm at the Joiners tonight with their kaleidoscopic cocktail of retro-rock.
But don't be fooled. If you're expecting a night full of hideous splurges of rehashed 60s and 70s guitar noise then be prepared to be blown away with all the precision of Chuck Norris.
The Jupiter Few have gone one better than Ocean Colour Scene by successfully tapping into the best bits of 60s and 70s psychedelia and rock and giving those crimson licks a killer, fresh hook.
What on the surface might seem retrospective is in fact a potent collection of fire-bred songs.
Led by front man Brad Weeks the band have been carving a big name for themselves on the local circuit since settling on their current line-up in 2001. Live they are addictive to watch, bringing back memories of The Doors.
Don't miss them!
