ENTRIES are now being taken for the 18th Stockbridge Cross-Country Fun Event on January 9, 2005.
Open to runners, joggers, walkers, mountain bikers and cyclo crossers, the event comprises eight miles of grassy, muddy tracks linked with eight miles of tarmac. Alternatively, there is a three-mile course, mainly on tarmac, available.
Entry is £7 adults, £3 children, £2 unemployed, with preceeds going to the George Skeates Benevolent Fund.
Competitors should meet at the town hall, Stockbridge High Street at 9.30am for a 10am start.
