THESE two glittering homes are among the festive best in the New Forest this year.
But have they done enough to scoop the title of Daily Echo Haskins Festive Home 2004?
In Whinfield Road, Dibden Purlieu, the Green family have filled the garden of their detached home with dozens of Christmas characters.
Housewife Valerie, 43, said: "My husband Simon puts up all the decorations, I just direct him. If we sat down and worked out how much we had spent on this I think we would be a bit shocked and wouldn't do it anymore."
She added that friends of her three sons, Peter, 16, Steven, 15, and 13-year-old Adam, had turned out in their dozens to check out the stunning decorations.
Meanwhile, in Jacob's Gutter Lane, Totton, pensioners Alan and Yvonne Hopkins have been working hard for three days to transform their 1930s bungalow into a winter wonderland.
Alan, 72, said: "I don't want to be a Christmas Scrooge, so we've been putting the decorations up for about ten years. People always take a walk along the street to see what we've been doing."
Before Christmas Day, the Daily Echo will reveal which of the amazing homes we've featured over the past few weeks is officially the most festive.
The winner will receive £300 of Haskins vouchers and two runners-up will take home £50 each.
