Incoming Stoneham club captains Mike Warner and Vicki Smith raised £260 for their chosen charity, the Ken Rose Foundation, when they staged the traditional captains' drive-in at the club.
They were joined by junior captain Scott Brown as well as 100 friends and well wishers. The Ken Rose Foundation was set up by son Justin following the death of his father from leukaemia.
Warner, a Winchester-based accountant, is the grandson of a former England cricketer. Vicki is a former Dunwood Manor member. Five-handicapper Brown joined the captains' drive-in for the first time to emphasise that the junior section are very much the future of the club.
Captains line up: Vicki Smith, Scott Brown and Mike Warner.
