Sir.-Regarding the Fort Hill School homework scheme.

My opinion, which will no doubt differ from so many other people, is that I do not believe in homework.

I visit my granddaughter, then, after tea, I have to see my great-grandson, at the age of eight, having to sit down to do his homework.

After having their brains taxed all day at school, why should they have to come home and do more taxing work?

Sorry, but, to me, it's all wrong.
