THE GRIEVING family of a Ringwood motorcyclist who died after a crash at a notorious accident black spot have paid tribute to the father-of-three's zest for life.

Stephen Good, 41, of Eastfield Lane, was in a collision with two cars on the B3081 a mile south of Verwood at 7.45am last Friday. He was rushed to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital but he died of his injuries.

His devastated family said that the popular grandfather-of-two, who was born and bred in Ringwood, was a keen footballer and loved motorbikes.

In a statement, the family said: "He was popular within the community and touched many of our lives.

"He was taken from us in his prime and will be dearly missed by his family, in particular his three daughters and two grandchildren, who will never have the privilege to know what a great man he was. We look to the future in the hope we can make him proud."

Mr Good was travelling towards Verwood when his Kawasaki bike was in collision with a Vauxhall and Toyota travelling in the opposite direction, near the Somerley commercial tip.

One of the drivers, a local man in his 60s, is helping police with their investigation and has been bailed pending further inquiries.

Mr Good is the seventh motorist to have died after accidents on the notorious stretch of road since November 2002.

Three people have been injured in accidents there since October, including two children who suffered whiplash this month in a collision at Baker's Hanging.
