A LATE penalty was not enough to save Broughton from a 2-1 home defeat by Durley.

After a scoreless first half in which both sides missed chances, Durley grabbed the lead through Leon Wheeler when the Broughton defence failed to clear.

Defences continued to dominate but, ten minutes from the end, Durley again broke out of defence and caught the Broughton defence napping, Barfoot scoring from close range.

Gavin Fayer scored Broughton's 90th-minute spot-kick consolation.
