BRITISH bad boys The Dogs D'Amour will be playing some of their cult classics at Southampton's Joiner's Arms tonight as part of their 15-date UK tour.

The cult rockers will play songs from their album Heart Shaped Skulls - Best of 88 -93 with numbers that made them rock favourites.

They are known to have inspired such groups as The Stereophonics and 3 Colours Red with their music, which consists of a dozen albums.

Lead-singer Tyla is the only original band member and he's been keeping group alive since they formed in the late 80s.

Today the new line-up comprises Danny McCormack, a former band member of The Wildhearts and The Yo Yos, Tom Spencer, also an ex-member of The Yo Yos, Mark Stanway and Yella.

The Midlands band will play popular songs such as Sometimes, Kiss My Heart Goodbye and Heroine along with other old numbers and some new tunes at the St Mary's venue.

And they're sure to play Satellite Kid, the highest entry for the group back in August 1989, which reached number 26 in the single charts.
