AFTER the much criticised Weyhill Road scheme, Hampshire County Council says work will be taking place on the western and north-western approaches to Andover during the festive period.
The traffic management work, costing £400,000 and being carried out by Caroway Construction, is des-igned to cut traffic speed and non-local traffic.
The scheme includes measures for Penton Grafton, Foxcotte and Charlton Road as far south as the hospital.
It also aims to improve facilities for pedestrians and cyc-lists, particularly in the areas near to the leisure centre, Harrow Way School and the hospital.
