Hedge End police have arrested two more youths following the violence which erupted in July between rival gangs at Greta Park.
Police have revealed that the net could be closing in on all those who took part in the trouble.
This latest breakthrough in the investigation comes after an appeal in the Daily Echo showing CCTV images of the punch-up between gangs from Townhill Park, Southampton, and Hedge End, which happened during the final day of the Hedge End fun fair.
Officers received a flood of calls following last Friday's appeal and have been able to identify two more youths they wanted to interview in connection with the street fight.
However a third youth still needs to be identified and questioned about the brawl in which one youth was struck over the head with a wheel brace.
The remaining youth police want to interview was seen in CCTV footage kicking a 14-year-old boy in the head.
Insp Paul Newstead said he was extremely pleased by the number of calls received from members of the public.
He said: "The support received from members of the public in providing these names has been valuable to us.
"Two more youths are now assisting us with our inquires into this awful exhibition of sickening behaviour."
He added: "If the public can name this remaining youth, we will have identified all of those we believe had a part in this chilling display of fighting on the normally quiet streets of Hedge End."
The two 15-year-olds interviewed yesterday have been released on bail until January 29.
Last week at Southampton Crown Court four Townhill teenagers were convicted for their involvement in the Greta Park incident.
