THIS stunning display is entirely the work of a Christmas-mad schoolboy.
Ashley Jupe, 13, a pupil at Applemore School, transformed his Marchwood home after he read about the Festive Homes competition in the Daily Echo.
It took two weeks of untangling rope lights, stringing up Santas and organising cables. Mum Sue, 40, said: "He's done it all on his own. Now the place looks like Blackpool illuminations!"
Sue's other children Nathan, 15, and Victoria, 12, lent a hand, but the bulk of the work on the Twiggs Lane house was done by Ashley, who is in with a chance of winning the Daily Echo's Festive Homes competition, run in conjunction with home and garden store Haskins.
There's a top prize of £300 of vouchers to spend in the West End superstore, plus two runner-up prizes of £50.
Do you know of a display to compete with Ashley's? Already, scores of people have contacted the Daily Echo with their suggestions.
We will bring you the best of the nominations every day before announcing the winner before Christmas.
