FESTIVE fun has begun in Whitchurch as Simon Whitmarsh finished turning his garden into a Christmas wonderland and switched on the lights for passers-by.
For the ninth year running Simon has decorated his Oakland Road home and garden to raise money for Naomi House Children's Hospice in Sutton Scotney. Simon's initial display was quite modest but over the years he has built it up.
This year he took two weeks off work turning his property into a Winter Wonderland, with a village scene, carol singers, lights and other Christmas characters. "It's just for the kids really," he said.
