JUST a few days to go before amateur dramatic performers across Hampshire learn the truth!
The judging for the Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards 2004 has taken place and the nominations will be published in the Echo on Tuesday and repeated again in What's On section next Friday.
The judges deliberated for an entire day over the performances they have seen this year and competition was fierce with more than 80 shows reviewed in 2004 - the highest number yet.
Curtain Call co-ordinator Tracie Billington-Beardsley says: "This year, virtually every show has been seen by at least two judges, in some instances three, in order to establish a fair and unbiased opinion.
To be nominated, the judges are looking for performers and producers of an exceptionally high standard. Not everyone can win but to receive a nomination is an accolade in itself."
The lucky winners will not be revealed until the night of the Curtain Call Awards, which take place at the Guildhall in Winchester on Friday, January 14.
Will your name be in that golden envelope?
