AWARD-WINNING Chesil theatre, in Winchester, presents a twist on a TV favourite for its Christmas production with the stage version of 'Allo 'Allo, which runs until Saturday, including a matine on the final day.
Written by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft and directed by Gary Nicholson, this hilarious comedy is based on the popular television series and will be a seasonal delight.
Ren (Malcolm Brown) is a worried man. His wife Edith (Sue Hake) has hidden the painting of "The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies", and the Germans want it back.
Ren must remain friends with the Gestapo, while keeping on good terms with the local resistance.
Then there are the waitresses he's in love with and Lieutenant Gruber's (Jonathan Gregory) attentions to avoid, not to mention the two British airmen (Jason Collins and Dan Rumney) hiding in the cellar!
Performances start at 7.45pm unless otherwise advised, with tickets £8.50 from the Chesil box office on 01962 877977.
Tickets are available to the general public three weeks before the start of each production.
