After a good win in the cup last weekend, CFL UK sponsored Andover RFC returned to league action against local rivals Alton.
Although never an easy game, the All Blacks were hopeful of a win. With late fitness tests and unavailability of key individuals once again, Andover were unable to field the same team two weeks in a row.
Nonetheless this proved to be no detriment to the side and saw the return from Iraq of army officer Duncan Bailey, and a first start for young prop Jason Webb.
In the first quarter Andover easily dominated the home side in all areas, the forwards providing quick clean ball and the backs using some good hands and sharp running lines.
