Andover 2 Salisbury 4 Andover suffered their first home defeat of the season as Salisbury took advantage of their lack of depth. Andover got off to a good start with five consecutive short corners. Richard Hoo managed to give them the start they were looking for as he converted one with a fine strike.
This was to be as good as it got as minutes later Hoo picked up an injury and left Andover with ten fully fit players for the remainder of the game.
Salisbury were able to get back into the game midway through the first half when Andover failed to clear leaving a simple finish.
