SOUTHAMPTON band Delays proved that they are generous as well as talented with a charity gig.
The band raised £1,000 for Naomi House children's hospice at a special charity gig at The Joiner's Arms in St Mary's, Southampton.
The band, who come from Bitterne, wanted to give something back to the area which has supported them so much.
They have shot to fame over the past year, scoring a string of hits with such singles as Hey Girl and Long Time Coming.
They will shortly begin recording their second album.
