A PROPERTY solutions company with a regional base in Hampshire has clinched a deal worth a staggering £100m over the next three years.

Rok, which employs scores of people at its southern region base near Fareham, has signed up with insurance giant Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA).

Rok, which develops, builds and maintains properties under various Rok-prefixed subsidiaries, will act as sole supplier of building repair services to the R&SA's commercial property customers in the UK.

The signing comes shortly after R&SA introduced its new arrangements for handling commercial property claims, where it will assess claims and appoint the relevant supplier from its own commercial supply chain.

Now responsible for carrying out all building repairs valued between £1,000 and £100,000 to commercial properties insured with R&SA, Rok will be using its premium property maintenance service Rokforce.

That arm operates from a network of offices across the country including the one at Whiteley.

A company spokesman said: "The domestic and commercial contracts, which are for a three-year minimum term, are expected to generate more than £100m of additional revenues over the period for Rokforce."

Rokforce director John Dance said the company was "delighted" to be entrusted with the insurance group's customers and felt it had earned the trust through a proven commitment to putting customers first and delivering a quality service.

He added: "It is a tribute to the dedication of our teams carrying out this work that we have now been invited to extend our operations to the commercial market."

Stewart Murray of R&SA said: "Service delivery to our customers is of critical importance to us.

"Rok have very high customer values, and we are pleased that both organisations have managed to build a service proposition that puts Royal & SunAlliance's customers first."
