INFANTS raise funds: Hatch Warren Infant School is celebrating a successful Children in Need day.

Thanks to the efforts of children, teachers and parents, the school raised almost £300, which is a great achievement.

BAD Hair success: Hatch Warren Surgery, in Moorhams Avenue, along with its sister surgery in South Ham, took part in Bad Hair Day for St Michael's Hospice a few weeks ago.

Between them, the amount raised came to £120. Well done!

RAFFLE tickets: Hatch Warren Surgery is now raising money for Naomi House, the children's hospice, with a Christmas raffle.

PHONE mast news: Phone operator Orange was, at the time of going to press, expected to submit two formal applications for the Hatch Warren area this week.

It is applying for a 12-metre 2G mast close to the chicane on Woodbury Road, and a 20-metre 3G mast on Brighton Hill playing fields adjacent to Cliddesden Lane.

SANTA: The Basingstoke/Alenon Round Table will be in the area with its float, complete with Father Christmas.

It is due to visit Kempshott Rise on December 14, and the rest of Hatch Warren on the nights of December 15, 17 and 20.

FESTIVE fun: Tickets are now on sale for the feast of festive fun at the community centre on December 21.

Children can be booked in for the whole day, starting at 10.30am and running until 4.30pm.

In the afternoon they will be treated to a Christmas show.

Hatch Warren favourite Forest Forge Theatre Company will be visiting and performing its version of Arabian Nights.
