BEYOND THE SEA (15): This film looks at the life of singer Bobby Darin who had hits with Splish Splash and Mack the Knife.
ALIEN VS PREDATOR (15): Two horror/sci-fi franchises go head to head when a group of explorers investigating a mysterious pyramid discover it is inhabited by aliens who are being hunted by predators.
BLADE: TRINITY (15): The Vampires plot to frame Blade in a series of brutal killings. He must then join forces with the Nightstalkers, a clan of human vampire hunters, in a battle in which the trail of blood leads directly to the great Vampire of them all.
BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON (15): Rehash of the first movie about the big-knickered singleton which should nevertheless please fans.
CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS (PG): Tim Allen portrays Luther Krank who, fed up with the commerciality of Christmas, decides to skip the holiday and go on a vacation with his wife instead. Then his daughter decides at the last minute to come home.
THE FORGOTTEN (12A): A grieving mother, struggles to cope with the loss of her young son. But when her psychiatrist tells her that she has created eight years of memories of a son she never had, she embarks on a mission to prove her son's existence and her sanity
FINDING NEVERLAND (PG): Charming, well-acted film about the creator of Peter Pan JM Barrie's friendship with a young family who inspire him to write his most famous work.
FIVE CHILDREN AND IT (U): Based on the story by E Nesbit, a group of children discover a fairy who grants them a wish a day but deliberately misinterprets what they ask for, causing chaos.
ENDURING LOVE (15): Thriller based on a novel about two men whose lives become inextricably linked after they both lay witness to a freak ballooning accident in the country.
THE GRUDGE (15): English-language remake of Japanese cult hit about a house with a curse which consumes everyone who encounters it.
THE INCREDIBLES (U): Mr Incredible is a superhero; or he used to be, until a surge of lawsuits against superheroes submitted by the people they've saved forced the government to hide them in witness protection programmes so they could lead normal, anonymous lives.
LADIES IN LAVENDER (12A): Quaint British film about the lives of two elderly sisters whose lives are turned around when they take in a mysterious handsome young man.
LOOK AT ME (15): A comedy about a daughter's relationship with her over-powering father.
THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE (15): Intelligent thriller about a soldier who realises that he and his former platoon have been brainwashed for sinister purposes.
PRINCESS DIARIES 2: THE ROYAL ENGAGEMENT (U): In order to take her throne princess Mia must find a husband within 30 days or forfeit her birthright.
SHARK TALE (U): When a shark dies in an accident a young fish, Oscar, takes credit for killing him, catapulting him to celebrity status but getting shark mobsters on his back in the process.
SURVIVING CHRISTMAS (12A): A guy becomes lonely during the Christmas holiday period so decides to rent himself a family to keep him company, but does not get what he bargained for.
TAXI (12A): Hollywood remake of the hit French film about a cop who teams up with a taxi driver and her customised cab to catch some crooks.
WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S THE MERCHANT OF VENICE (PG) : A Shakespearean adaptation, set in 16th century Venice. A Christian merchant loans money to give to a friend in order for him to woo a rich woman, only to find he owes more than he can afford.
